Dear Earth,
Through my species frivolous, inconsiderate and wasteful ways, we have pulluted your oceans, depleted your ozone and deforested your beautiful jungles. Though, we have left you permanently scarred by our endless amounts of metal, concrete and starbucks, please believe that there has been a conscious change rising to the surface for a long time now and accept my apology on behalf of my kind. Unfortunately, the damage may never fully be repaired however, we are finally headed in the right direction, one as clear as your summer skies and one that will ensure the future will too understand that analogy. So on this day, we honor you and say thank you for all that you provide, for without you there would be no us.
