i made a new friend last week. unbeknownst to me he's been living in my friend's backyard for quite sometime, and decided to make an appearance during the the final lakers game (slaughter). and not only was he the friendliest turtle i had ever encountered, he was practically striking a pose for me.

he was definitely the highlight of the night. his wisdom was great as he not only reminded me to slow down and enjoy life, but straight out showed me that everything we will ever truly need is already within us, but it's up to us to "wake up and smell the lettuce" (as he put it)
